Acceptable Use
Rules for using our website and for how access and systems should be handled during implementation and DevOps engagements.
What this is
This policy sets the expectations for how you use our website and how access to systems should be handled during implementation and DevOps engagements.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to your use of the Xev Integra website and to conduct during professional services engagements. It is part of our Terms of Use. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in the Terms.
We expect professional, lawful behavior. Violations may result in suspension of website access, termination of an engagement, or other remedies available to us.
1. Website use
When using xevintegra.com, you must not:
- Submit spam, phishing, malware, or automated bulk messages through our forms or email addresses
- Probe, scan, or attempt to breach the security or integrity of the Website or related systems
- Impersonate Xev Integra, our personnel, or other organizations
- Scrape or harvest data from the Website in a way that burdens our infrastructure or violates our Terms
- Use the Website for any unlawful purpose or to promote illegal activity
2. Inquiries and communications
Contact forms and email are for legitimate business inquiries about our Services. Do not submit sensitive personal data (such as government ID numbers, full payment card numbers, or health information) unless we explicitly request it for a scoped engagement and provide a secure channel.
3. During engagements
Clients and their personnel must:
- Provide access credentials only for agreed purposes and environments
- Notify us promptly if credentials are exposed or misused
- Not ask us to access, export, or alter data outside the written scope
- Approve production-impacting changes according to the agreed process
- Ensure they have the right to share Client Materials and instruct us to process them
We will:
- Use Client access only to perform the Services
- Follow least-privilege principles and agreed change windows
- Not intentionally introduce malware or undisclosed backdoors
- Report suspected security incidents relevant to the engagement without undue delay
4. Prohibited uses of Services
You may not use our Services, or ask us to configure systems, to:
- Violate applicable law, export controls, or sanctions programs
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties
- Send unsolicited bulk email or messaging campaigns through systems we configure, except where lawful consent and applicable anti-spam rules are met
- Disrupt, attack, or attempt unauthorized access to third-party services
- Conceal malicious code, fraud, or deceptive practices in integrations or pipelines
- Circumvent security, licensing, or usage limits of third-party platforms
5. High-risk or restricted work
We may decline or pause work that we reasonably believe creates unacceptable legal, security, or reputational risk, including projects that require circumventing vendor terms, handling prohibited data without proper safeguards, or deploying to production without agreed testing.
6. Reporting abuse
If you believe someone is violating this AUP or compromising systems related to our Services, contact hello@xevintegra.com with relevant details. We will review and respond as appropriate.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations, suspend website access, pause work, or terminate an engagement to protect people, data, and systems. Where required by law or contract, we will provide notice.
8. Changes
We may update this AUP by posting a revised version on the Website. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP for website use; active engagements are governed by the AUP in effect when the SOW was signed unless otherwise agreed.
